Courses/Exams:	Applications are invited for admission to MBA (Regular & Self-Supportive) programmes in the University Department for the academic session 2009 – 2010

Eligibility:	A pass in any degree

Application procedure:	Application form and prospectus for MBA programme can be obtained either in person or by post from the Registrar from 15th April 2009 on payment of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- in case of SC/ST candidates on production of attested photocopy of community certificate) to be remitted by a demand draft on any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Madras. The cost of application once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. The application can also be downloaded from website: www.unom.ac.in and those submitting who downloaded form should pay Rs.200./- (Rs.100/- for SC / ST candidates) as application and registration fee.

PGCET 2009 Notification - Karnataka | PGCET 2009 Exam Dates Application Forms Results

Karnataka CET which was supposed to be conducted on 29th april and 30th april is postponed to 06/05/2009 & 07/05/2009

The last dates for submission of application forms is extended till 05 March 2009.
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test-2009 (K CET-2009) for admission to Medical, Dental, Engineering Technology and Indian Systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy.

Bangalore, Mar 4: The Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to professional colleges has been postponed in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Karnataka Examination Authority on Tuesday announced May 6 and 7 as the new dates for CET. The earlier dates were April 29 and 30.

Common Entrance Test and Kannada-language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates will be held as follows:

Wednesday, May 6: 10.30-11.50 am: Biology (60 marks); 2.30 -3.50 pm: Maths (60 marks)
Thursday, May 7: 10.30-11.50 am: Physics (60 marks); 2.30-3.50 pm: Chemistry (60 marks)
Friday, May 8: 11 am: Kannada test for Gadinadu Kannadigas; 1 pm: Kannada test for Horanadu Kannadigas.

However, the seat-selection process will be held as per the schedule notified in the CET-2009 brochure.

Karnataka Post-Graduation Common Entrance Test (PG CET) is conducted by Central Post Graduate Admission Committee (CPAC) for admission in MBA/MCA in various colleges and institutions in Karnataka. This test is conducted for both Karnataka and non-Karnataka students but non-Karnataka students would only be applicable for seats under Management quota.
