Two Year Graduate Programme in International Business Management (PGP-IBM) - 2009 recognized by IGNOU

The PGP–IBM aims at preparing qualified and skilled international business management professionals and entrepreneurs, thereby strengthening the Country’s effort for promoting international business.
Specific Objectives
1. Developing a cadre of management professionals equipped with conceptual, technical and behavioral knowledge, skills and mindset in global business systems and practices.
2. Professionalizing management structures and systems of Indian business organizations to cope up with challenges of global business.
3. Contributing towards making India a vibrant hub for global business & industries.

The PGP – IBM is designed for
(a) graduates aspiring for career in international business,
(b) exporters and export houses,
(c) entrepreneurs who want to enter global markets with their products/services,
(d) working professionals who want to add value to their professional profile and;
(e) government officials from commissionerates/departments engaged in handling of international business issues in government administration. NGOs dealing with international development/financial agencies and academicians involved in teaching or research in international aspects of business or management will also find the Program useful.

Eligibility criteria-:
1. The Program will be open for graduate degree holders from any discipline.
2. This is a national level Program and therefore graduates from any medium of instruction and any university situated in India or abroad will be eligible to apply.
3. The applicants must hold the 1st graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
4. Max. age limit is 35 years.
5. Candidates with work experience are given priority; however lack of such an experience will not be a disqualification.

KIIT Master in Rural Management Admissions 2009


Applications are invited for admission to 2 year full time Master in Rural Management (MRM) Programme - 2009

Eligibility :
Graduate in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education and having minimum 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) at graduation can apply. The percentage of aggregate marks is to be calculated as per the practice followed by the concerned University/ Institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case the University/ Institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100. Those who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before 15th June, 2009 can also apply.

A candidate should have qualified in MAT, CAT or XAT for the current session and obtained a good score.

Admission Process:

Successful candidates will be intimated of their final selection through admission offer letter containing the terms and condition of the admission. For the offer to be valid, the selected candidates, after going through the contents of admission offer letter, need to confirm and accept the offer with the terms and conditions for taking admission to the programme through “Acceptance Letter” along with a demand draft for Rs. 30,000/- favouring “KIIT School of Rural Management payable at Bhubaneswar towards the confirmation fee. The confirmation fee so deposited will not be refunded under any circumstances. All the candidates who have been offered admission have to pay the fees as stipulated in the admission offer otherwise they would forfeit their seat to the person next on the waiting list.

Applications are invited for admission to MBA (Regular & Self-Supportive) programmes in the University Department for the academic session 2009 – 2010

Eligibility : A pass in any degree

Application procedure:Application form and prospectus for MBA programme can be obtained either in person or by post from the Registrar from 15th April 2009 on payment of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- in case of SC/ST candidates on production of attested photocopy of community certificate) to be remitted by a demand draft on any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Madras.

The cost of application once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. The application can also be downloaded from website: www.unom.ac.in and those submitting who downloaded form should pay Rs.200./- (Rs.100/- for SC / ST candidates) as application and registration fee.
Last date of submission of Forms:Within 7 days from the date of publication of the results of TANCET.

Selection : Applicants looking for admission to M.B.A. Programmes are required to appear for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) in May 2009 conducted by Anna University Chennai.

Selection will be made based on the performance of candidates in the written test conducted by Anna University (TANCET MAY 2009).
