The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali has been established as an autonomous academic institution in 2007 by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development,Government of India, New Delhi, to carry out research in frontier areas of science and provide quality science education at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The broad focus of IISER Mohali is to integrate excellence in scientific research with education.

Applications are invited from prospective candidates for admission to the Ph. D. program (III batch) in IISER Mohali in the areas of Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Mathematics, for the academic session beginning in August 2009. Candidates with a keen motivation to perform excellent scientific research are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Qualification : High Second Class in M. Sc. and a valid GATE/NET/JEST score.

The application form and brochure can also be obtained by Post by sending a Demand Draft [Rs.350/- for M.A/M.Sc/MS; Rs.550/- for Research Programmes] in favour of The Registrar, Adikavi Nannaya University drawn from any one of the nationalized Banks payable at Rajahmundry. The application form can also be obtained by paying Rs. 300/- for M.A/M.Sc/MS Programmes; Rs.500/- for Research Programmes in ANURCET Office, Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajahmundry from 13th March 2009. The filled-in applications must reach CONVENER, ADIKAVI NANNAYA UNIVERSITY COMMON ENTRANCE TEST- 2009 on or before 5.00 PM on 15-04-2009. Late applications can be submitted on payment of late fee of Rs.100/- on or before 5.00PM on 27-04-2009.
