Chris Nowinski, a former WWE star, said Tuesday that there is a definite link between concussions and future brain damage. Chris Nowinski has been active in investigations dealing with football player concussions and the result of such concussions years down the line. Chris Nowinski has been encouraging football players to donate their brains to science, in an effort to uncover move about this disturbing phenomenon.
Chris Nowinski claimed that out of the 6 NFL players he and the Bostom University School of Medicine have examined, 6 have showed signs of brain disease. The brain damage can occur in even the youngest football players. The youngest person to be afflicted with such brain damage has been 18.
Chris Nowinski pointed out that such damage not only occurs in professional football, but also high school football leagues and such. What the solution for such a problem is, however, has yet to be made clear. Chris Nowinski is a firm believer that this a problem that needs further investigation.
