College students have taken an interest in the uci webreg system. Apparently, those individuals who want to register for classes at UC Irvine are not getting access to the system. It is most likely having functional difficulties as their server is overloaded. It can be a pain to not be able to register for classes. They can become filled quite quickly.
Anyone whose having difficult getting access to the uci webreg system should give it a rest for at least an hour or so. The server will eventually regain full functionality. If the problem with UCI webreg continues, students should contact university officials quickly. We have been unable to confirm what exact problems that are plauging the system, but they are almost always due to higher server load.
